SCAIP produces hydraulic facing machines equipped with power units for pipes ranging from 8” up to 60”. The hydraulic facing machines are supplied with their own power units SFM-PU ranging from 74kW to 104 kW.

SCAIP’s facing machines have been praised for their high cutting speed, modularity, flexibility, strength, reliability and safety.

The SFM Series hydraulic facing machines are equipped with:
– Hydrostatic transmissions
– Sound-absorbing panels to reduce noise
– Diesel cycle endothermic engines from CAT, PERKINS or DEUTZ
– Optional arctic or desert packages to ensure reliable use in very cold or hot climates

The line-up clamps produced by SCAIP are a crucial support in pipeline welding procedures.

SCAIP’s line-up clamp range includes two model series:

SLC Series: for pipe welding with coated electrode process.

SLCA Series: for pipe welding with automatic MIG/MAG process, with backing of the welding bath made with copper pads.

Available sizes of line-up clamps for pipe sizes ranging from 8″ and 60″.

The SLC/SLCA Series line-up clamp machines are equipped with:
– Bronze sliding wheels or high resistant polymer coatings
– Interchangeable heads to set different pipe sizes and thicknesses
– Air filters and air lubricant integrated in the pneumatic systems
– Air tanks with 15 bar equipped with safety valves

Upon request, the customer can have specialized pneumatic line-up clamps to be used specifically in the construction of aqueducts with internally cement covered pipes (O.D. 74″; 82″).

SCAIP also produces welding cabins made of stainless steel and UV-resistant polyurethane that can be dismantled and containerized for easy transport and use on pipeline projects.

Upon request, these cabins can be equipped with A/C, fume extractors, floor coverings and other accessories depending on the needs of the end users.

SCAIP produces its own line of ROPS/FOPS to be installed on pipelayers and other equipment that may require roll-over protection canopies.

Keeping operators safe is fundamental for SCAIP, this is why we strictly comply with design and safety regulations required for machines operating in the pipeline, earth-moving and agricultural sectors. SCAIP uses specific equipment to produce its own line of products as well as the ones requested by different customers. ROPS/FOPS tests are administered according to the current regulations for cabins and roll-bars.

Aiming to supply our customers with an optimal solution to transport bare pipes to be welded along the yard, SCAIP developed and has been manufacturing two different types of pipe carriers.

Pipe carriers can carry a range of pipe sizes, from 6” to 60” depending on the project.

The SFT Series of pipe carriers are equipped with:

– Removable tracks for easy transport in containers
– Roll-bars for added safety
– Hydrostatic propulsion systems
– Hydraulic foldable cradle arms for easier maneuverability when not carrying pipes
– Custom cradle arms to fit pipe sizes from 6” to 60”

The SRT Series of pipe carriers are equipped with:
– Tracks made of rubber
– Removable tracks for easy transport in containers
– Roll-bars for added safety
– Hydrostatic propulsion systems
– Hydraulic foldable cradle arms for easier maneuverability when not carrying pipes
– Custom cradle arms to fit pipe sizes from 6” to 60”

Since the early 90’s, SCAIP has produced tracked flatbeds designed for different work applications and soil types. These machines are highly customizable and can be fitted to the different needs of our clients.

SFT Series: includes flatbeds equipped with steel tracks, engine power options ranging between 106 and 261 kW, and a loading capacity between 3,900 and 25,000 kg.

The SFT Series tracked flatbeds can be customized as:
– Dump beds
– Mobile workshops
– Pipe carriers
– Container carriers
– Mobile pipe welding equipment, for coated and/or automatic electrode welding procedures (MIG/MAG). Cranes are available in various sizes and brands depending on the customer’s request. They can be mounted on the back or front of the cab according to the specifications of the end user.

Engine options: CAT, PERKINS, FPT, VOLVO, DEUTZ, EU Stage V – EPA Tier 4 Final Ready.

Our mandrels are made from quality steel ensuring strength and flexibility. They are supplied with positioning tubes and a set of shims for diameter adjustments. The SWH Series includes our hydraulic mandrels and covers a range from 10″ up to 60″, while the SWP Series covers our pneumatic mandrels.

Mandrels between 10″ and 22″ are available in both manual and motorized versions. For 24″ and bigger, only the motorized versions are available.

Since 1994, SCAIP has been producing pipe benders, hydraulic wedge mandrels, and internal line-up clamps suitable for pipes ranging from 6″ to 60″. Our pipe benders can be equipped with heated/air-conditioned cabins for arctic/tropical climates.

On request, SCAIP can also produce pipe benders and mandrels of larger sizes to be used in the construction of aqueducts (O.D. 74″ to 82″).

The SPB Series of pipe bending machines are equipped with:
– Hydrostatic circuits with LUDV load-sensing systems
– High-strength steel structures
– Bending of steel pipes up to API 5L X100
– Winches with lifting capacities from 3,000 kg to 15,000 kg.
– Diesel cycle endothermic engines of the best available brands such as CAT, PERKINS, or DEUTZ.

SCAIP is one of the few world producers of screening buckets. Designed to be easily attached to suitable excavators, our screening buckets can be configured with different sized rotors to produce different sized material.

Our screening buckets were initially designed to screen the material to be placed under and over the laid pipes to protect them from rocks or other objects that could damage the pipes. Since then, our screening buckets have also been used for a variety of other applications such as for forestry, mining, or general construction.

The SBP Series of screening buckets are equipped with:
– Hydrostatic drives
– Buckets made from high-strength steel
– HARDOX screening rotors of different sizes (from 19 to 50 mm)

In 1995 SCAIP entered the padding machines sector. SCAIP has developed a specialized design and construction of padding machines. This includes different sizes and models of the SPD padding machine line to better suit the needs of our client’s projects. The SPD Series includes machines that can either be self-fed or fed by an excavator.

The SPD Series of padding machines are equipped with:
